North Sydney United always welcomes new and returning players!

We offer football for boys and girls, men and women from pre-school through to Under-18s. There are also special arrangements for our Development Squads for Under 7s to Under 15s.

 How do I register?

You may be able to choose which team you are in and, as far as possible, we will try to accommodate any requests to play with friends.

For detailed instructions on how to register through Football Federation Australia’s My Football Club national online registration system, please see our registration page. When registering, nominate North Sydney United as your club.

After you have registered, an Age Coordinator or Team Manager will be in touch with you to let you know about training and other arrangements.

Active Kids Voucher

The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the Active Kids program.

Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher for each school-enrolled child in their care aged 4.5 to 18 years.

The voucher is valued at $50 and:

  • Can be put towards the cost of sport and active recreation with registered Active Kids providers

  • Must be redeemed before the expiry date on the voucher.

The voucher may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities.

Parents, carers and guardians who receive Family Tax Benefit can apply for Active Kids Voucher here.

Please ensure that you have obtained your active kids voucher code before you start your registration in Football NSW as we are unable to refund the $50 directly to you if you do not use the voucher code in your registration as this is a government sponsored scheme and not a discount.


 

Please note that if players register in full with North Sydney United and DO NOT use the voucher code, we will be unable to refund them the $100 – this is a rebate from the NSW Government and not a discount from the club. You will however still be able to use your valid code with another sport for your child.

 

How much does it cost for the season?

 

The registration fees for all age groups can be found here. The fee typically includes for Juniors

  • 17-19 competition games (weather/covid permitting)

  • Pre-season games

  • Up to 24 weeks of training (weather/council/covid permitting)

  • Contribution to training ground hire, balls and other club equipment

  • playing kit

  • Insurance

  • Affiliation fees to NSFA, Football NSW and FFA

The fee does not include football boots or shin pads. These can be bought from our sponsor Olympus Sports in Neutral Bay who offer a discount to North Sydney United players.
