Summer Comp - FAQ’s

FAQ’s

  • Can Football Boots be worn? Yes boots can be worn on Cammeray Oval.

  • Do I need shin-guards - Yes, appropriate protective apparel must be worn at all times.

  • What kit do we wear? A set of tshirts are included in the registration cost for the team - these will be available for to collect in week 1 prior to your games that night

  • I don’t have a team can I still play? Unfortunately entry is at Team level but please contact us by clicking here.

  • Where will I find the fixtures and results? These are on the website - under Summer Football 2024 and split as Seniors and Juniors. They are NOT on DRIBL.

  • Do you provide a referee? Yes referees are provide for all comps

  • If I need to forfeit - what is the process? Should you be unable to play please email clubadmin@northsydneyunited.com.au by midday on game day

  • Where do I find the rules? These will be sent to your Team Manager, you can also find them here

  • What happens if games are called off due to weather? Please check the wet weather page under Summer Football 2024

  • Do players still have to register with Football NSW for the Summer Comp even if registered for Winter football? Yes registration is still needed for Summer football - there is no cost for this part of the process, it is to cover you for insurance purposes.

  • Who do I pay the registration fee to? - The registration fee is paid to North Sydney United through the registration page on this website.

  • Are there a changing rooms available to use?- The ground has got gender neutral change rooms that should be open throughout the tournament for use, if there are any issues with this please contact the club.

  • Is there a defibrillator at the ground? - Yes, there should be a defibrillator available during all games, it is located behind the large metal roller door on the side of the change rooms next to the tennis courts, if the door is closed please speak to the ground controller on site.

  • Is there parking nearby? - There is free parking along Park Avenue next to the pitch, avoid parking in Cammeray Golf course as this is private property and fines may apply.
